Adjust Krain Sprinkler Heads

The K-Rain Dial-A-Nozzle sprinkler comes with eight pre-installed nozzles.

When activated by a timer, K-Rain sprinkler heads rise up to keep your lawn watered. K-Rain produces five types of pop-up sprinklers, all of which are adjusted in the same manner. The throw and arc controllers are located on top of the spray heads and adjusted with the supplied key or a flat-head screwdriver. Adjust and align your sprinkler heads to suit your lawn and its watering needs. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Insert the supplied K-Rain key or a flat-head screwdriver into the "Nozzle Selection" slot on top of the sprinkler head. Grasp the serrated ring and twist the key until the desired nozzle lines up with the arrow on top of the spray head. Nozzles produce different spray patterns and precipitation rates.

2. Twist the radius adjustment screw into the arrow on top of the spray head, using the screwdriver to tighten the screw clockwise. This reduces the water projection range by 25 percent. Twist the screw counterclockwise to restore the throw to full capacity.

3. Place your finger on the arrow on top of the spray head. Twist the turret clockwise until it stops, then twist it to the left until it stops. This is the fixed left edge, which cannot be adjusted.

4. Insert the K-Rain key into the "Nozzle Selection" slot. Bend the key back slightly and pull up until the riser comes up. Grasp the riser with your free hand and remove the key from the riser. Twist the lower riser and align the arrow with the left boundary of the watering area. Carefully push the riser back into the housing.

5. Insert the K-Rain key or flat-head screwdriver into the "Arc Set Adjustment" socket in the center of the spray head. Twist the key clockwise to increase the rotation range or counterclockwise to decrease it. Set the arc to one of the degree markers surrounding the "Arc Set Adjustment" slot. At 360 degrees, the sprinkler rotates in a continuous circle.
