Rain Master vinyl gutter guards are very beneficial to any home. These devices can help protect your home from water leakage simply by protecting your gutters. Gutter guards are installed on top of gutters and keep leaves and other debris from clogging them. Debris can cause the gutter to become flooded with rainwater and eventually overflow. This in turn can cause water to enter your home. Installing Rain Master vinyl gutter guards is no different than installing any other type of gutter guard and can be completed in a few easy steps. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Climb a ladder at the center of the gutter and remove dirt and debris that is clogging it. Throw twigs and leaves to the ground by hand and remove smaller debris with a gutter scooper. Slide the gutter scooper along the inside of the gutter and toss out any mud and smaller pieces of debris.
2. Set up the ladder at any corner of the house and slide the first vinyl gutter guard into the gutter. Attach the front of the gutter guard to the front lip of the gutter and snap it into place. Slide the back of the gutter guard on the back of the gutter and snap it into place.
3. Move down the gutter and line up the second piece of gutter guard directly next to the first. Overlap the pieces by two inches and snap the second in place along the top of the gutter. Continue down the gutter, snapping the pieces in place until you reach the end.
4. Cut the last piece to size using tin snips and install it in the same manner. Continue around the entire perimeter of the house gutter system until it is completely covered with the gutter guards. Inspect the gutter guards to make sure they are all securely in place and there are no gaps between the pieces.
