Art projects are a perfect way to spend your afternoon.
Whether you or your sixth grader needs to complete a project for school or wants to start a new hobby, finding a project takes some research. Upon beginning the search, however, you'll find plenty of options when it comes to art projects. Whether it's painting, drawing, working with clay or sculpture, you are bound to find something that interests you or your child.
Instructions
1. Visit your local arts and craft store. Browse through the aisles for art projects, which often list an appropriate age on the packaging.
2. Scour the Internet for projects you can purchase online or do yourself with supplies you already own. There are a plethora of websites dedicated to DIY art and art supplies.
3. Take a trip to the library and peruse the art book section to inspire ideas.
4. Ask the art teacher at your school. He probably has plenty of sixth-grade art project ideas and may even loan you a few supplies.
